Is it an elephant? is it a snake? whatever it is, it certainly raises a few questions... This one is merely titled "Elephant thing" and was quite tedious given that Photoshop was glitching weirdly. the hardest part was making the scales as i had to paint the scale pattern by hand, one by one.
This one is simply titled "Soup Hat". It's definitely simpler than the others but still amusing nonetheless. I had an assignment where I was tasked with creating an image that was "sliced". The example given was an animal but the torso was replaced with an accordion. I came up with the idea of taking a top hat and filling it with soup. this then progressed into having the top of the hat open like a can of soup through the use of a can opener. i'd say my main inspiration for this was an image my friend sent me one day at 3:00 AM of a Reese's peanut butter cup filled with baked beans.

Probably one of my best works. This one is titled "The Hatman". When making this image, I learned how to match the lighting of two different images and make it look realistic. In the original image of my face, there was a faint blue shine on my hat and face (as shown on the right side in the image) which wasn't on batman. to fix this mismatch of lighting conditions, i added a hand drawn faint blue light wrap on the edge of batman. now the lighting matched so it didn't look like two separate images spliced together. i then added a lightning bolt in the background to give a reason for the blue light. i changed the title from "THE BATMAN" to "THE HATMAN" with the subtitle of "VS. THE CACKLING CHAPEAU" and i changed the actor list at the top to a tongue in cheek message about how the film only includes me. a fun detail that is often missed is that the legal print at the bottom of the image clearly states "disney presents alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day" as the legal print was sourced from that movie for some reason.

This was the first of my photoshop assignments, simply titled "castle". I completed this in only one class and though it's basic, it was still loads of fun and turned out quite well given that it was the first thing i made in the software. in this image, i made the stone pillar significantly taller and put a castle on the top, creating the illusion that the pillar is significantly taller than it actually is. i also gave the pillar a shadow, again reinforcing the idea of it being very large. it was very fun to make and was quite a good first attempt.

This one is titled "Castle 2, The obligatory sequel" and is simply an expanded upon version of the original "castle" but remade with a better looking shadow and stone pillar mountain thing. this time, there is also a dragon, the angry birds death star, and a Tesla roadster entering the atmosphere. i never got the chance to save this project as school closed before i could save it on the school computer so all i have is a picture taken from my iPhone of the computer screen. i later tried to restore this image by sending it through an artificial intelligence setup and making the A.I. recreate the image in higher quality but the results were quite mixed. though the image became much sharper, the A.I. mistakenly tried to sharpen and restore details that weren't there in the first place and the image was full of weird artifacts and the pixels on the screen were amplified, leaving a scanline effect in some areas while other areas remained blurry. i'm not sure how to resolve this but for now i will just upload the blurry image alongside the A.I. version.
